Sugar Roll in Dieppe

The decor is clean and simple. Not terribly Japanese, but nice.As for food, we did a roll combo plate that costs $60, but you get to choose any EIGHT rolls you wish on the menu. (They give you four pieces of each instead of eight, but they're big...) It fed three people easily. 32 rolls in all.They make their fancy rolls very well, both in presentation and in taste. We most preferred the Ginky roll. They were all delicious.The service was a little slow at first. It took the only waitress ten minutes to even greet us, but once we ordered, the food arrived quickly.I will return for sure, especially for the combo plate, which allowed us to sample the menu.

Wonderful ambience and very courteous staff. The food and service was excellent. Highly recommended for sushi and ramen.

Three of us went in for dinner with a booking, which I would highly recommend as the place isn’t that big. The service was warm and friendly. We had several dishes and everything was great.

Sugar Roll came highly recommended by a few friends. Took my sister for lunch and we both Loved it!We have both, at various times, lived for years in Vancouver and fell in love with sushi out West. Sugar Roll is delivering the same amazing quality, for a great price!Fantastic staff, and a very nicely appointed space. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to Sugar Roll.

It's not Japan unfortunately but the rolls were fresh, delicious and decently priced. Would definitely return and try some udon or ramen.

My favourite sushi restaurant in greater Moncton area. Best sushi rolls and best customer service. This place keeps me coming back with it's consistency in perfection.

Had my cousin's birthday supper there this weekend and it was the most amazing atmosphere I have experienced. The staff made you feel like family and the food was so good, I am definitely going back. I would rate Sugar Roll higher than 5 stars if possible. Everyone must experience their food and hospitality.

Got the Large-A combo. Don't. Maybe the more classical ones are better but I doubt that considering the produce itself. Pros:Food came in alright. Good avocados.Got what I ordered.Cons:TLDR: It's sushi but it's not really sushi:1. Lots (and I mean drenched) of sauces (non-spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, and some white sauce) in the sushi versus the quantity of fish (not counting crab/pollock) Probably because:2. Fish is not that fresh. Maybe I got a bad batch of nearly everything. An odour emanates which is not wholly covered by the excessive aforementionned sauces. 3. Rice is dry and not what you'd expect from restaurant grade sushi rice.4. Pink tempura? Why? Just keep the natural colour.Don't.

Best Sushi in Moncton/Riverview/Dieppe. We have tried them all, and this place cannot be beat! The food is amazing and the service is really wonderful. They are so kind and welcoming. We love Sugar Roll!

What an wonderful experience. I am new to the city and was craving sushi and I was more than blown away by the hospitality and customer service I was given. The sushi was delightfully delicious. I was surprised when my 2 rolls came with complimentary starters, miso soup AND a salad and a complimentary dessert! The salad alone was outstanding. I loved the dressing and when I asked my server about it, she told me and came back with a generous jar of the dressing for me to take home. Sugar Roll has impressed me more than I can say, I will definitely be a regular customer. I can't wait to try more items on the menu!Thank you, thank you, thank you Sugar Roll for a wonderful dining experience.

I am truly blown away by the service, quality, and atmosphere of this restaurant. Everything was so delicious and fresh tasting. The best sushi I've ever had. I was speechless the entire time. The cup of broth at the beginning of the meal was so flavorful. The little dessert at the end felt so special and sweet. Everyone is so kind. I'm in love with this restaurant and 100% recommend it to everyone

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Greater Moncton area. Their sushi is delicious, the menu has a great variety, the staff is super friendly and the service is efficient at all hours. As we were waiting for our order, and as I was writing this review, the server brought us a couple of pieces of cheesecake!I definitely recommend this place for both takeout or eat-in... even before the free cheesecake.

Best sushi i had in a while awesome service

Visited on a rainy thursday night, yet there are more patrons than I expected. Food are good and taste quite authentic. I would come again.

Fantastic experience. I ordered the crab roll not expecting too much but the rolls were actually double the size of normal sushi and were delicious, probably the best crab sushi I've ever had. The price was also great as it was one of the cheaper things on the menu. 18 peices cost about 14$. Would highly recommend to any sushi lover.

Best choice so far in this area. Fresh high quality fish and delicious rolls. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is excellent. Definitely going back!

One of my favorite places to eat.

Food was delicious, I recommend getting the spicy Yakisoba. However, their maki rolls are also worth every penny.

This is such an awesome restaurant a highly recommend anybody looking for some really good Japanese cuisine to come and checkout the sugar roll Japanese cuisine restaurant you won't be disappointed whatsoever I highly recommend it because the facilities extremely clean the staff were very friendly it doesn't take long to get your order they never mix it up the food is delicious such a great place to dine out and eat with your friends can't wait to come back again when we come down with my colleagues hope to see you again real soon guys thanks for everything and keep up the good work.

Love the music and of course the Japanese flavours.. not your typical atmosphere....but very cozy

Appetizers were superb! We had agedashi tofu, gyoza and dynamite roll. The ramen would have also been good if not for the noodles. It's like instant noodles but the soup was delish! The place was clean and the service was also great. They even gave us free desert. We'll definitely be back and try other entrees. :)

I've had more expensive sushi at worse restaurants. This place is great!! It's not expensive, very fair price and the food is delicious! Everything was so good and definitely tasted very fresh. Service and quality are outstanding. My only regret is not trying this place sooner. I'll definitely be returning here when the sushi craving hits again, this is now my go-to spot for this type of food.

Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. I am currently seated in the restaurant enjoying my first visit here and I was so blown away I needed to write a review right away. Best sushi I have had in years, and incredibly pleasant and efficient staff. Do yourself a favour and come here, I will be recommending this restaurant until I am blue in the face!

Hands down the best sushi place in the Greater Moncton Area! Food is fantastic, service friendly and efficient. I'll be back for sure. If you like Japanese cuisine, this restaurant should be at the top of your list.

The BEST sushi ever, none can compare! I've been to many across Canada and this is my favorite. The food is delicious, atmosphere is warm and the staff is friendly. Our family goes there at least once a week for our fix.

Very yummy and great presentation

Really amazed with the quality of food and the taste is phenomenal. Was skeptical at first to try it out but I am glad that I did and it made my top 5 list. Very pleasant and friendly staff and the food is really good. It is not overly priced and get great quality and quantity for the price. For first timers I would definately recommend the Bento box. It's like getting the best of everything. I will have to go back and try the ramen dishes that they added to the menu recently.
